As the name suggests, a back office assistant’s work is concentrated in the back office. In organizations that have back office and front office assistants, the front office assistant is the person who will deal with the receiving of clients and booking of appointments. The back office assistant will only deal with clients who have already been admitted by the front desk. The back office assistant is directly answerable to the supervisor.
