Construction CV’s should show your strong points and attributes. If you have been in the construction industry for a while it would be important to highlight the jobs you have held before. Construction being largely a hands on industry, it would be important to emphasize your achievements in that line of work. Therefore the CV format you chose should accentuate these facts. It might be tempting to exaggerate what you have done in such an industry, but this is not advisable. This is because once you are asked to carry out a task you mentioned in your CV and fail to, you lose your credibility. It is quite probable that you have done a lot in your line of work, so the format you chose should be able to highlight all the relevant details without your CV appearing overcrowded.
