A skill based CV is the type of resume that focuses more on the expertise of an individual. The resume does not focus on when an individual obtained his/her qualifications, skills and experience rather on the expertise. Accordingly, when prospective employers look at this curriculum vitae, they are drawn in by the individuals qualifications and expertise and not the timelines when the qualifications and expertise were obtained.
