A software testing professional should be able to analyze computer software and detect any problems that it may have. Software testing resumes should reflect well developed analytical skills that will allow the tester to predict problems arising from software. A software tester should have a good understanding of various programs and database concepts. The tester should be in a position to solve any problems that arise during the testing of different software products. A software testing resume should show that the applicant understands the basic quality assurance methodologies and processes. This knowledge should be in relation to software development.
