Copy Writer CV

Like a journalist CV, the copy writer CV cannot afford to contain any mistakes. Simple mistakes in grammar and spelling are enough to cause employers to write you off. It is therefore important to go through your CV when you have compiled it for the last time.

Before you begin preparing a copy writer CV, find out more about the company or organization you want to work for. This will help you identify the skills that will most likely be of interest to the recruiters from that specific organization. Copy writing requires creativity, analytical skills, writing skills and computer skills. These should be clearly demonstrated.

  1. Emma says:

I would suggest when applying for copywriting job that you need to stand out and be as creative as possible. After all, as a copywriter that’s your bread and butter ;0)

I would stay away from dot points and instead of listing responsibilities, list what skills you used to DO the tasks listed in responsibilities.

Lastly, the most important word of advice…. JUST DO IT! Get amongst it and live it up! Writing copy is fun, and make sure that the person reading your copy knows that you love it.

    Luck!

You know what I get from this video? He’s the guy in the bar who tells epically-long jokes with a lithe pun for a pcnuhline. These people make me drink too much.FTW: YouTube users voting is like letting “America vote,” the carnage of which is evident in every one of those “winning” Heinz ketchup spots from a few years ago. Or every season of “American Idol.”
