Production Assistants work in coordination with Production Managers. Each production manager has two or more production assistants to aide in smooth functioning of the production program. They take directions from production manager. Each production assistant handles or manages a specific task or area of operation. For example one assistant may be involved with day to day expenses and book keeping, the other assistant might work with film crew and the other with outfit designs etc. Together production assistants form hands and legs of the production manager without whom production manager is not able to work properly.
